The One Ring Has Been Found!

If you have been keeping up with Magic the Gathering you are already aware of the latest Lord of the Rings expansion. The set features cards that pay tribute to the trilogy’s most iconic characters, places, and moments. Frodo, the Nazgul, Mordor, and so many more are immortalized in the MTG Community. 

The most exciting part of this set is the serialized Ring of Power card. They are only printing 1 card ever. Getting a pack of these cards is slightly more expensive than usual but absolutely worth it. There was a 2 million dollar bounty on this card to whoever finds it. 

Unfortunately for the rest of us, the hunt is over. As of June 30th the card was pulled. The announcement came from Dave and Adams, a prominent collector, and then officially by PSA. (the one ring got a 9 by the way) 

The name of the person who pulled it obviously wants to remain anonymous. But we do know he resides somewhere in Ontario Canada. For this individual, he is an overnight millionaire. For other collectors, this means the products from this set will become more affordable very rapidly. There are plenty of other awesome cards to hunt and trade.
