Scarlet and Violet Reverse Holo Highlight

There are many updates to the Pokémon cards coming out for the Scarlet and Violet era. Although we’ve highlighted many of the changes in previous articles, we have yet to mention the new reverse holofoil pattern!

Every pack of Pokémon cards comes with one reverse holofoil card where everything but the image is shiny. The current iteration for has a sort of stagnant pattern with the type symbol in small boxes. It left a lot to be desired but we’ve had them since Sword and Shield released in 2020. 

The new pattern is much more exciting. It looks almost mosaic with various size stones accenting large type symbols. Even though these are not the chase cards, the sheen adds a whole level of beauty to a completionist.
