Obsidian Flame Official Release August 11th

Obsidian Flame is finally being released on Friday August 11th! The products have already been announced for some time and there is nothing brand new worth mentioning. But we have some incredible photos of the Illustration Rare's to get you excited for next Friday.

Unlike other sets, Obsidian Flame is made up of one Japanese set. Others are typically made up of 3. Because of this people consider it a filler set. Obsidian Flame also introduces Tera-type Pokémon. These are Pokémon who have different types than normal.

The Pokémon lore states that scientists were trying to find mew and accidentally sent out an energy wave that altered the type of Pokémon in the surrounding forest. You can now harness those type differences and use the obscure matchups to your advantage!
