McDonalds x Pokémon Match Battle Toy 2023

The massively successful 2022 McDonald's happy meal match battle toy is back with a whole new look. The first few cards from other countries have been revealed so we will get our typical first look at some of the new cards coming our way. Germany and Austria have already seen releases and the UK is following up on August 23rd. That means that the US can't be far behind. Here is a look at what we’ve seen so far.

There will be 15 cards you can collect which include: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Cetoddle, Cetitan, Pikachu, Pawmi, Kilowattrel, Flittle, Sandaconda, Klawf, Blissey, Tandemaus, Cyclizar, and Kirlia. All of which will be reprints from Scarlet and Violet except for Pikachu, who will be from Paldea Evolved. 

The Holofoils are confetti style and will also have holo borders which is new for the McDonald's collaboration. Match battles are a fun way to play with Pokémon cards in a unique way. The game involves a spinner and some new strategy. The game is easy to play and fun to experiment with.
