Pokémon TCG: Crown Zenith Release and Galarian Gallery
Last month, images from a VSTAR Universe leaked and we found some spectacular photos to share with you. Now, Pokémon has officially announced the English set that will close out the Sword and Shield era. Crown Zenith is the finale we have all been waiting for!
The set features the pair of legendary heroes, Zacian and Zamazenta, shining with incredible VSTAR power. SWSH 12.5 will be a slightly smaller set with a base of 160 cards. Five of them will be VMAX and eight will be VSTAR. Another notable difference is that the Trainer Gallery subset has given way to the Galarian Gallery which is chock full of Pokémon and trainers featured throughout the Galar region.
The complete rundown of Crown Zenith:
- Over 160 cards
- 3 brand-new Radiant Pokémon
- 5 colossal Pokémon VMAX
- 8 shining Pokémon VSTAR
- 17 powerful Pokémon V
- 70 cards with special artwork in the Galarian Gallery
The set’s official release date is January 20th 2023. However, products like the Premium Collection Boxes, mini tins, and pin collections will become available through April. Products for the last expansion will release slowly throughout the first few months of 2023.
The Galarian Gallery will feature many cards from Japan’s VSTAR Universe as well as some cards that were rumored to have been cut from the last few English sets. These cards can be regular Pokémon, VMAX, VSTAR, and full art trainers.
Zenith is a fantastically appropriate name for the Sword and Shield finale. The quality and creativity of this set is at its apex. The Pokémon Company certainly saved the best for last and a set like this will be hard to top for the upcoming Scarlet and Violet cards. The cards are vibrant, charismatic, funny, ferocious, and downright adorable. The variety of cards has something for every collector.
Head over to "new releases" right now because the pre-order is already available. Reserve all your Crown Zenith products today so you get yours on release day. The set officially hits stores January 23, 2023 and I can't think of a better way to start off the year.
