The Original Pokémon TCG Online

On Nintendo’s February 8th Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Gameboy will be available to play soon. The details were limited. In fact, they did not even mention the game by name. 

Other Gameboy titles have already released and others are coming soon. However, there is no specific date mentioned. It will be fun to see a faithful resurgence of the PTCGO. The game originally released in April of 2000 and It features cards from Base Set and Fossil. 

Switch users must have a Nintendo Online subscription to play this game and many others that come with the emulator. 

Obviously, we have improved modern versions of the card game that lets us play with thousands of people online. But this throwback should be an exciting boost of nostalgia.
