The Release of Pokémon 151 Collectors Edition

We have seen plenty of images from Japan but our time has finally come. The long-awaited Pokémon 151 set has finally been announced for English. On September 22nd the cards will become available including the Ultra Premium Collection. Good news for fans of the Japanese products, our set will look identical to theirs. Usually there are cuts or artistic changes that the English sets make. However, the 151 set will be a copy. There are lots of exciting products coming out so lets break down what will become available and when. 

The set will include: 

• Over 160 cards
• 12 Pokémon ex
• All 151 Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region—in Pokédex order
• More than 10 Trainer cards
• 16 illustration rare and seven special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
• 16 ultra rare full-art etched Pokémon and Supporter cards
• Three hyper rare gold etched cards

The only difference is the Snorlax Mewtwo and Mew cards which have been converted into promo cards which will be available in the elite trainer box and Ultra Premium Collection respectively.

The elite trainer box will cost 50.00 and comes with 

• 9 Scarlet & Violet—151 booster packs
• 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Snorlax
• 65 card sleeves
• Various gameplay accessories

There will be a poster collection that features 3 promos and a poster with all the pokemon in the set, you can check them off as you collect them all!

It costs 15.00 and will include:

• 3 Scarlet & Violet—151 booster packs
• 3 promo cards featuring Bulasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle
• 1 full-size, two-sided poster

Next up is the binder collection. It will have 4 booster packs as well as a 9 pocket binder that features Mew on the front.

The most exciting release will be the Ultra Premium collection. This will have all the most exciting goodies but it will certainly cost the most. It will release a little later on October 6th and will cost 120.00

• One metal card featuring hyper rare Mew ex
• One special illustration rare promo card featuring Mew ex
• One illustration rare promo card featuring Mewtwo
• One stitched-edge playmat featuring Mew

There will be a few other smaller boxes released like the Kadabra box or the Zapdos box. These will also be releasing in October so stay tuned for that.
